Walsh Restoration Services was founded in 2001 by Michael James Walsh. His extensive experience in the construction industry led him to this career path focusing on restoration in the Sea to Sky corridor.
 
Prior to founding Walsh Restoration, Mike was working as a project manager for a well-known construction company. He noticed a pressing need for a dedicated restoration company to service Whistler and the Sea to Sky communities. And more importantly, a company that prioritized quality workmanship, speed, and integrity.

With Mike's vision, Walsh Restoration began. Quickly, Walsh Restoration became the leader in restoration throughout the Sea to Sky corridor. Mike’s vibrant personality and unwavering commitment to the community were the cornerstones that helped him build a successful business.

Sadly, Mike passed away in 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and commitment to service. His dedication to both his craft and his community will forever be remembered as a contributor to where Walsh Restoration is today.
 
We continue to honor his memory with an "MJW" badge on our vehicles, and by continuing to support the members, clubs, and organizations of the Whistler, Pemberton, and Squamish communities that Mike supported.
 
​In the spring of 2024, Scott Schober, long-time Sea to Sky resident, took over Walsh Restoration. Scott’s extensive background working with strata corporations, insurance claims, and his direct business interactions with Mike and the Walsh team helped to ensure a seamless transition.

Walsh Restoration is led by Senior Project Manager, James Holland, who has over 10 years of experience dealing with all types of insurance claims and reconstruction projects.
 
James’s engineering background, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence is the reason Walsh Restoration continues to be the number one choice for restoration services in the Sea to Sky corridor.
 
Together, Scott, James, and the Walsh team are eager to continue Mike’s dedication to providing rapid and exceptional service to our clients, while continuing to give back and support this great community.
